G CAPITAL BHD’s (GCAP) 70 per cent-owned subsidiary Solarcity Malaysia Sdn Bhd has today signed a 25-year solar power purchase agreement (PPA) with Evergreen Fibreboard Bhd.

It said in a statement that Solarcity would design, construct, install, own, operate and maintain a solar photovoltaic energy generating system with a total capacity of 7.0 megawatt (MW) under the Net Energy Metering scheme at the premises of Evergreen in Batu Pahat, Johor.

With this winning of 7.0 MW PPA, Solarcity has bagged a total of 16.6 MW PPA.

OHR MARKETING SDN BHD, which carries the Olive House brand, has received a prestigious recognition from the Financial Times (FT), being listed in the FT Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies 2021, compiled in partnership with its sister company, Nikkei Asia and an international research firm, Statista.

In a statement, the leading supplier of scientifically proven halal natural and organic products in Malaysia said Olive House is ranked No. 242 overall as one of 500 fastest-growing companies in Asia Pacific and number eight among its Malaysian peers.

MY E.G. SERVICES BHD (MYEG) through its joint-venture company I-Pay MYEG Philippines Inc, has signed a strategic partnership with SinoPhil Biotech Inc (SPB) and Family Vaccine and Specialty Clinics Inc’s (FVSC) Health Direct Now initiative, for the provision of a COVID-19 vaccination programme in the Philippines. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the partnership brought together the strength of three companies to provide a timely boost to the country's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

It said prospects of the partnership is expected to be positive and barring unforeseen circumstances, the partnership is also expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net assets per share of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2021 and onwards.

SERBA DINAMIK HOLDINGS BHD has announced in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the redesignation of Datuk Mohamed Ilyas Pakeer Mohamed as its new chairman from an independent director previously.

In a separate filing, the company said its previous chairman Datuk Mohamed Nor Abu Bakar has been redesignated as independent director.

Both changes were effective on June 15, 2021.

AIRASIA GROUP BHD (AAGB) has proposed the acquisition of the remaining 1.665 million shares in BigLife Sdn Bhd, representing 20 per cent of the equity shares in BigLife, from Aimia Holdings UK II Ltd for RM103.037 million.

Upon completion of the proposed acquisition, AirAsia Ads Sdn Bhd, which would be wholly owned by AirAsia Digital, after transferring its entire stake to AirAsia Digital, would hold 100 per cent equity interest in BigLife.

AirAsia Ads is a wholly owned subsidiary of AirAsia Com Travel and AirAsia Com Travel is in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of AirAsia Digital. 

Following the transfer, AirAsia Ads would be renamed as 'AirAsia Superapp Sdn Bhd'.
