ENTREPRENEURS' ACHIEVEMENTS UNDER INSKEN MONITORED TO ENSURE SUCCESS - MEDAC

KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 -- The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) will ensure that the performance of participants in training and guidance programmes organised by Institut Keusahawanan Negara (INSKEN) is constantly monitored to ensure entrepreneurs are on the right track.

Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said INSKEN implemented this monitoring via an application known as iPro to ensure that the performance of entrepreneurs did not go astray and immediate assistance could be given if needed to ensure the excellent achievements of entrepreneurs.

“To date, the outstanding achievements of entrepreneurs who attended INSKEN’s training and coaching programmes can still be maintained with an average minimum sales increase of 20 per cent.

"It is more gratifying when there are entrepreneurs who have managed to record an increase in sales of more than 200 per cent after participating in the programme organised by INSKEN," he said in a statement today.

He said INSKEN’s handholding programme was very suitable for entrepreneurs, including those who were new to entrepreneurship.

Therefore, his ministry is confident of producing more successful entrepreneurs through various training and entrepreneurship guidance programmes organised by INSKEN.

Wan Junaidi said INSKEN also aims to prepare entrepreneurs with appropriate knowledge and skills to deal with post-COVID-19 situations.

Since March, INSKEN has implemented two physical entrepreneur interactive sessions with Wan Junaidi, attended by more than 100 entrepreneurs, and eight online Industrial Townhall sessions with the attendance of about 11,000 entrepreneurs.

INSKEN has today conducted an ‘Entrepreneur Interaction Session with the MEDAC Minister’ online over two hours attended by over 200 entrepreneurs from various industries.
