SKP'S NET PROFIT FOR FY2021 SURGES TO RM128.32 MLN
KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 -- SKP Resources Bhd’s net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2021, surged to RM128.32 million as compared to RM72.16 million recorded in the previous financial year.
Revenue jumped to RM2.28 billion from RM1.83 billion previously, the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
“The sterling performance was mainly due to strong demand from existing key customers as well as improvement in operational efficiencies and effective cost control measures,” it said.
With the COVID-19 pandemic remaining a threat to the overall economic climate, the group said it will continue to focus on implementing preventive measures and strict compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures in its operations to safeguard the health and safety of employees.
For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021, SKP posted a higher net profit of RM30.69 million as compared to RM4.51 million recorded in the same period last year, while revenue rose to RM444.92 million from RM426.01 million previously.
