PESONA METRO BAGS RM319 MLN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 -- Pesona Metro Holdings Bhd’s (PMHB) wholly-owned subsidiary, Pesona Metro Sdn Bhd, has bagged a contract from Bayu Mantap Sdn Bhd for the execution and completion of a superstructure building and mechanical and electrical project worth RM319 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the project is for a duration of 27 months, commencing today.
PMHB said Bayu Mantap is principally involved as the turnkey contractor and turnkey developer of the project.
“The project will be funded via a combination of internally generated funds and short-term project financing facilities from financial institutions, the quantum of which has yet to be determined at this juncture.
“Accordingly, the effect on the gearing of the group also cannot be ascertained,” it said.
PMHB added that the project will not have any impact on its paid-up capital, but is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and enhance the net assets of the group during the duration of the project.
