KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 -- ConnectCounty Holdings Bhd’s 51-per cent subsidiary, Waja Build Tech Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM128.91 million contract from Intan Medical Centre Sdn Bhd for main building works and operation fixed facilities works for a development project in Alor Setar, Kedah.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, ConnectCounty said the contract is for the proposed development of a six-storey private medical centre, which entails engineering design and procurement, building and completion of main building works, among others.
“The contract shall commence May 6, 2021 for a duration of 24 months, and is scheduled to be completed by May 5, 2023,” it added.
ConnectCounty said the contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of the group for the duration of the contract.
