KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 -- Oppo Malaysia has launched its latest flagship smartphone, Oppo Find X3 Pro, dubbed the world's first Android phone that can capture, process and display one billion colour images.
Oppo Malaysia vice-president Garry Gong said the new 5G flagship smartphone, priced at RM4,299, is expected to double Oppo’s smartphone sales in Malaysia.
"We have started to sell this flagship smartphone in China and it has already doubled in sales from our previous series. We hope it would also do the same in Malaysia," he told the media after the Oppo Find X3 Pro launching event here today.
Gong said Oppo Malaysia will be focusing more on e-commerce platforms this year and consumers can get a better experience via the usage of the My Oppo application, which has reached one million users since it was launched last year.
"We also have physical stores nationwide called My Oppo Space," he said, adding that Oppo's smartphone devices that are 5G-enabled are priced as low as RM1,500 per set.
"We are also looking at launching a 5G smartphone this year which will be priced slightly above RM1,000," he said.
Pre-orders of Find X3 Pro can be made from today until April 8, 2021, and the first sale of the device will be available at stores on April 9, 2021.
At the same event, Oppo also launched its wireless earphone called EncoX priced at RM699, as well as the Oppo Premium Service, a holistic after-sales service exclusively for Oppo Find X3 Pro owners.
