BANK ISLAM REVISES OPERATING HOURS FOR 46 BRANCHES DURING CMCO
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 -- Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd is revising the operating hours of 46 branches in the Klang Valley and Sabah in view of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) imposed from today.
In a statement, the bank said 31 branches in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya under the yellow/green zones will have shorter operating hours from 10 am to 3 pm.
Meanwhile, 15 branches located in the red zone areas in Sabah, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will operate with limited services and banking hours -- 9 am to 2 pm in Sabah, and 10 am to 3 pm for Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
Chief executive officer Mohd Muazzam Mohamed said Bank Islam is committed to adhere to measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 and places the safety of customers and employees as its utmost priority,
“We encourage customers to use our digital banking services platforms, including GO by Bank Islam mobile app, Bank Islam Internet Banking (https://www.bankislam.biz) or self-service terminals.
“Also available is our E-banker service for business banking transactions,” he said.
