GLOBAL ORIENTAL TIES UP WITH S. KOREAN FIRM TO DISTRIBUTE NANO BUBBLE PRODUCTS

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 -- Global Oriental Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Nano Innovation Sdn Bhd, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with South Korea’s Fawoo Nanotech Co Ltd (Fawoo) to explore potential business opportunities.

Global Oriental executive director Gan Vi King said the MoU allows Global Nano and Fawoo to negotiate exclusively and establish the terms of cooperation for the distribution and manufacture or (joint) manufacture of Fawoo's nano bubble products in relation to a definitive agreement to be subsequently entered into between the two parties.

"The MoU would hopefully be the first step in Global Oriental group’s venture into the healthcare protection business, which has much potential,” he said in a statement today.

“We see opportunities as Malaysians become more health-conscious especially during this pandemic. 

"This technology would allow us to create a safe space in public areas using nano bubble ozone water in Malaysia and Singapore. As it is water-based, we believe it would appeal to a wider spectrum of the community as the currently available sanitisers and disinfectants are predominantly alcohol-based," Gan added.

He said the nano bubble ozone water, which has a wide range of applications from healthcare to agriculture, unifies the natural cleansing power of water with ozone and modern nano bubble technology to create a safe and effective natural sanitiser and disinfectant.

The proposed collaboration is part of the management's plan to identify other sources of income stream for Global Oriental group, he added. 

Fawoo is principally engaged in the development and supply of innovative nano bubble generators. It is also in possession of several patents on mixer and tube which is a key technology to generate nano bubble.
