HEITECH PADU, RSA SECURITY, CYBERSECURITY MALAYSIA LAUNCH SECURE-X
CYBERJAYA, Sept 8 -- HeiTech Padu Bhd together with RSA Security and CyberSecurity Malaysia today launched Secure-X, a next generation Security Operations Centre-as-a Service (SOCaas) to enhance digital transactions across the board.
Its executive vice president Abdul Halim Md Lassim said the target market for the product would be mid-range enterprises, banking as well as government agencies.
"Over the past months, we have seen an increase in cyber attacks as COVID-19 has forced the shift of businesses to digital in order to keep afloat.
"With this product in place, it will monitor all transactions conducted and automatically neutralise any existing or possible threats that exist," he told a press conference today.
He added that the system is applicable to any digital device from personal computers to mobile phones that are involved in transactions.
"From there, we will also provide monthly analysis and report to our customers," he said.
Powered by RSA’s Netwitness platform, the service also marks HeiTech Padu’s first collaboration with the US-based cybersecurity company for security information and event management.
Meanwhile, CyberSecurity Malaysia chief executive officer Datuk Amirudin Abdul Wahab said Secure-X as a customised product suite will allow customisation according to business requirements and preference.
"This is set to strengthen the local cybersecurity landscape with more players complementing each other, collectively enriching the ecosystem," he said.
