ALAM MARITIM SECURES 5-YEAR CONTRACT FROM REPSOL
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 -- Alam Maritim Resources Bhd has secured a five-year contract from Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia Ltd to provide subsea inspection, maintenance and repair services for Block PM3 in a commercial arrangement area located between Malaysia and Vietnam.
The offshore support vessel service provider said the contract started effectively on June 30, 2020.
"The first vessel mobilisation will be in mid-August," the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
On the contract's value, Alam Maritim said it would be as per work order request by Repsol.
It added that the contract was expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net tangible assets of Alam Maritim and its group of companies for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2020, and thereafter within the duration of the contract.
