MAXIS TO OFFER WIDEST RANGE CONNECTIVITY, DIGITAL SOLUTIONS FOR SMES
KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 – Maxis Bhd is ready to offer the widest range of connectivity and digital solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) under the SME Digitalisation Grant, including digital marketing, electronic Point-of-Sale, remote working and eCommerce solutions.
This follows the telecommunications provider’s selection as a Technology Solutions Provider by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
Concurrently, Maxis has partnered with Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) which will result in a simpler, more efficient and convenient application journey for SMEs.
Its chief enterprise business officer Paul McManus said Maxis was encouraged by the government’s ambition to support SMEs in the country, and the SME grant will certainly help kickstart and accelerate the growth of businesses which were critical for the economy.
“We are pleased to be working alongside MDEC and BSN to help facilitate and quicken this process through digital onboarding, single touchpoint and access to the widest range of cost-effective digital solutions.
“SMEs around the country are no doubt anxious to get their business back into full swing and we are ready to help them,” he said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, MDEC chief executive officer Surina Shukri said SMEs were the key drivers of employment and economic growth for Malaysia and realising that MDEC was committed to enabling this critical sector to drive towards digitalisation.
