MATRIX CONCEPT RECORDS STRONGER PROFIT AT RM231.63 MLN
KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 -- Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has recorded a stronger net profit for the financial year ended March 31,2020 at RM231.63 million compared with RM218.22 million in the previous year.
Revenue, meanwhile, increased to RM1.28 billion from RM1.04 billion.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, it said, the property company has taken comprehensive measures to protect the health and safety of its workers in light with the COVID-19 pandemic and also implemented virtual solutions to broaden its sales avenues.
“The group’s core objective remains on enhancing the revenue stream from its townships by capitalising on the growing acceptance of its Sendayan developments and Bandar Sri Impian in Kluang, Johor.
“To this, the group will continue improving available amenities and infrastructure as well as stimulate the communal living at the townships towards supporting a vibrant and bustling community,” it said.
Matrix added that the group is also continuing with the effort to enlarge its land bank around these townships to cater to future demand.
“The group has embarked on a steady diversification of its revenue stream beyond its traditional stronghold in Negeri Sembilan and Johor by expanding its domestic project portfolio to include developments in Klang Valley as well as internationally, in Melbourne, Australia and Jakarta, Indonesia,” it said.
