HI HOME TO SHOWCASE 2,000 PROPERTY UNITS ON LAZADA

KUALA LUMPUR, June 19  -- Hi HOME Dotcom Sdn Bhd has partnered with e-commerce platform Lazada to showcase over 2,000 property units with a total value of RM1 billion on LazMall and live streaming sessions with LazLive.

In a statement, Hi HOME said the Hi HOME Property Expo would be held in conjunction with the mid-year 07-07 sales, where buyers would only need to buy vouchers priced as low as RM88, which would act as a booking voucher and could be used to redeem free gifts from developers such as cashback and special rebates.

Hi HOME chief executive officer Radzi Tajuddin said customers could expect to get discounts of up to 30 per cent and prices as low as RM200,000 through the Hi HOME Property Expo via Lazada.

“Our main focus has always been to promote homeownership and we are working closely with developers to ensure that we can offer the best deals in the industry,” he added.

Furthermore, the reintroduction of the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2020 under the Short-Term Economic Recovery Plan (PENJANA) would greatly benefit homebuyers given the stamp duty exemption on Memorandum of Transfer (MoT) and loan agreements, and Real Property Gains Tax (RPGT) exemption for disposal of residential homes until Dec 31, 2021.

Meanwhile, Lazada Malaysia chief marketing officer Diana Boo said today's public health crisis is driving increased demand for digital shopping experiences, which has also caused a significant shift in the business landscape and consumer shopping behaviour during the COVID-19 and Movement Control Order period.

“e-Commerce is becoming an essential source to meet the needs of consumers. We are excited to have Hi HOME on our platform leveraging our digital tools to make purchasing a home more accessible to homebuyers.

“Livestreaming through LazLive is a valuable tool for our brands and sellers to engage with consumers real-time under our collective new normal,” she added.
