BMDAM MEMBERS WISHING TO OPERATE DURING MCO TOLD TO APPLY VIA MITI WEBSITE
KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 -- The Building Materials Distributors Association of Malaysia (BMDAM) has advised its members, who wish to operate during Movement Control Order (MCO) period, to apply online via the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) starting today.
In a statement today, BMDAM said the government has allowed additional industries to operate during MCO, subject to compliance with MITI’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
All applications can only be submitted through MITI online at www.miti.gov.my and not through any other government ministries or agencies. Only applications that are complete and fulfill the conditions will be processed.
BMDAM said the association also wish to express its gratitude to MITI, as well as the relevant ministries and agencies, for their tireless efforts to ensure the safety of the people and stability of the country’s economy.
