Chaos in Melaka State Assembly on Umno debt issue

MELAKA July 16  (Bernama) -- The Second Meeting of the Second Term of the 14th Melaka State Legislative Assembly was today thrown into chaos when there was a verbal war between Pengkalan Batu assemblyman Norhizam Hassan Baktee and opposition representatives on Umno debt issues.

The drama began after Norhizam who was also the state Agriculture, Agro-based, Entrepreneur Development, and Cooperative Committee chairman, quoting a Malay proverb ‘Harimau mati meninggalkan belang, manusia mati meninggalkan nama dan Umno mati meninggalkan hutang (Tigers die leaving their stripes (of their fur), but humans die leaving their names (reputation), and Umno dies leaving debts).....
