KPDNHEP raids egg processing factory in Durian Tunggal for profiteering

ALOR GAJAH, March 7 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) raided an egg-processing factory in Durian Tunggal here today for profiteering after receiving complaints from the public.

KPDNHEP’s Enforcement Division price and supply section chief Abd Hafidz A. Rahim said about 30,000 grade A eggs worth about RM10,000 were seized in the three-hour raid which began at 11 am.....

Two schools closed, 35 treated due to chemical gas pollution


JOHOR BAHRU, March 7 (Bernama) -- Two schools were closed while 35 people, mostly students, were treated at the Sultan Ismail Hospital after sniffing chemical gas resulting from the dumping of chemical waste into the Kim Kim River near Pasir Gudang, early this morning.
