Negeri Sembilan Syariah Court solves 4,130 cases last year

SEREMBAN, Sept 27 -- The Negeri Sembilan Syariah Court has solved 4,130 cases or 59 per cent of the total 7,000 cases filed last year, said Chief Syariah Judge of Negeri Sembilan Abas Nordin.

Between January and August this year alone, a total of 5,551 cases has been filed ranging from divorce, criminal to faraid cases with 57 per cent of it or 3,171 cases have been solved.....

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 26 -- Scheduled water supply has been implemented in Melaka and Johor following a drop in the supply of raw water due to low water levels in rivers and dams as a result of the prolonged hot and dry weather as well as reduced rainfall since March this year, said the National Water Services Commission (SPAN).
