Media practitioners among victims of chemical waste pollution

JOHOR BAHRU, March 15 (Bernama) -- Like so many others affected by the chemical waste pollution in Pasir Gudang last week, media personnel assigned to cover the disaster were not spared either.

Journalist Mary Victoria Dass, 39, from Harian Metro, being the latest victim, said she was bleeding from the nose and had breathing difficulty from 11.20 am today, while covering an event at the operations centre  of the Disaster Relief Management Committee at the Pasir Gudang Municipal Council in Menara Aqabah.....

IMARET distributes masks, sends third team of volunteers to Pasir Gudang

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (Bernama) -- The Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia's Response and Relief Team (IMARET) today distributed 500 industry-grade masks to first responders, workers, volunteers and victims at the ground zero of the chemical pollution incident in Pasir Gudang.
