Pasir Gudang Health Crisis: Johor mosques urged to hold 'hajat' prayers

JOHOR BAHRU, July 3 (Bernama) -- All mosques in Johor are urged to hold ‘solat hajat’ (prayer of need) simultaneously tomorrow night, in seeking divine intervention for the safety of Pasir Gudang residents following the air pollution incident which hit several schools in the area since June 20.

State Islamic Religious Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development Committee chairman Tosrin Jarvanthi also urged departments and agencies under his portfolio to perform the prayers.....
