Continuous operation to curb sale of turtle eggs in Sandakan

SANDAKAN, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- The Wildlife Department is serious in curbing the illegal sale of turtle eggs in the Sandakan town area and Sibuga Jaya through continuous enforcement operation.

The latest was an eight-day integrated operation that ended last Friday during which the department seized a total of 199 turtle eggs in the backyard of a building at Jalan Prayer in Sandakan on Sept. 21.....
