Fire destroys 'pondok' school hostel in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU, Feb 14 (Bernama) – A fire destroyed a double-storey hostel of the Tarbiyatun Nisa ‘pondok’ school in Kampung Marabahai, Tuaran, today.

No one was injured in the blaze which occurred at 6.55 am, said Tuaran Fire & Rescue Station chief Abdul Qawie Abdul Gapar.....

Indonesian man killed by crocodile while looking for crabs


MIRI, Feb 13 (Bernama) --  An Indonesian oil palm worker is believed to have been killed by a crocodile while out searching for crabs at a river mouth in Ladang Segi Pakatan Niah here at 1pm yesterday.
