54 Sape players enter MBOR with 50-hour, non-stop performance

MIRI, Feb 17 (Bernama) -- A total of 54 sape players in Sarawak created a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for the longest 50 hours, non-stop sape performance today.

The three-day event which began on Friday (Feb 15) and ended today, witnessed 51 men and three women, including sape master, Mathew Ngau Jau, performed 59 traditional sape melodies non-stop.....
