Govt studying ESSCom's restructuring - Mohd Shafie

KOTA KINABALU, Aug 7 (Bernama) -- Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the government is studying the proposed restructuring of the roles and functions of the Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCom)’s enforcement.

He said the study was aimed at strengthening defence and security surveillance in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (ESSZone) area where cross-border crimes were common occurrences.....
