Musang King durian, MD2 pineapple, coconuts future income-earners for Sabah - Idrus

KENINGAU, Nov 4 (Bernama) – The interior districts of Keningau have been identified as areas in Sabah for the cultivation of musang king durians, pineapples and coconuts as commercial crops in the future.

Sabah Agriculture Director Datuk Idrus Shafie said the district will focus on these three crops which have the potential to generate income for the state. 

He said focus will also be on these food crops based on the growing demand for them while currently only five per cent or 43,593.1 hectares of land in Sabah was for food crop production.....
