Semporna lawyer ordered to pay Sabah CM RM300,000 in damages

KOTA KINABALU, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- The High Court here today ordered a Semporna lawyer to pay RM300,000 in damages to Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal for malicious prosecution.

Judicial Commissioner Celestina Stuel Galid ordered Datuk Mohd Ainal Abdul Fattah who is also a politician, to pay the  global sum of general damages, exemplary and aggravated damages to Mohd Shafie, with five per cent annual interest until full settlement.....
