Pitas to debut as Pesta Kaamatan host - Peter 

KOTA KINABALU, April 9 (Bernama) -- Pitas, located about 169 kilometres from here has been selected to host the Sabah-level 2019 Pesta Kaamatan scheduled to be launched by the Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin on May 1.

State Infrastructure Development Minister Datuk Peter Anthony who is also 2019 Pesta Kaamatan Main Organising Committee chairman said Pitas was chosen to give a chance to the residents in smaller districts and its surrounding areas to jointly feel the experience of hosting the annual festival celebration. 

“The state level launching of Pesta Kaamatan has never been held in Pitas, therefore this year, Pitas will host the event for the benefit of the people there.....
