Kuching police set to wipe out online illegal gambling

KUCHING, Dec 13 (Bernama) -- Kuching police are determined to eradicate online illegal gambling activities.  

Kuching district police chief ACP Ng Ah Lek said, the Criminal Investigation Division at the Kuching district police headquarters (IPD) conducted 72 raids on illegal online gambling premises and managed to make 117 arrests so far under Section 4B (A) of the Common Gaming House Act 1953.

He said via Ops Dadu launched on Jan 1, electricity supply to 26 illegal gambling premises had been cut off with the cooperation of Syarikat SESCo.....
