Two Tawau schools closed today due to floods

TAWAU, Aug 20 (Bernama) -- Flash floods caused by rain forced the closure of two schools here today.

They are Sekolah Kebangsaan Serudong Baru and Sekolah Kebangsaan Apas, said Sabah education director Mistirine Radin.....

Slight improvement in Miri haze situation as API readings drop


KUCHING, Aug 20 (Bernama) — There was some improvement in the haze situation that has been choking Miri in the past weeks after the Air Pollutant Index readings for several areas in the district dropped to moderate levels today.
