Traditional media still relevant to educate consumers in Sarawak

MIRI, Aug 23 -- Sarawak Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) director-general Datuk Stanley Tan says the traditional media still has a relevant to play in terms of conveying authentic information to consumers to counter the various challenges posed by social media.

He said although social media such as Whatapp, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter spread information much faster, the mass media was still required to dispel any fake information and validate the true accounts.....
