Timber worker crushed to death by falling tree branch

KUALA KANGSAR, July 6 (Bernama) -- A timber worker died after he was crushed by a falling tree branch measuring 40 centimetres in circumference at a logging site in Sungai Akar, Sayong, near here early this morning.

Kuala Kangsar police chief ACP Razali Ibrahim said in the 8.30 am incident, the victim, Chan Kok Loi, 63, who was driving a bulldozer came out of the vehicle to look at the tree to be disposed of.....
