Remains of Kuching mall blast victim due home tomorrow

BUTTERWORTH, Dec 5 (Bernama) -- The remains of Chin Hsien Loong who died in the gas explosion tragedy at the CityOne Megamall shopping centre in Kuching, Sarawak yesterday is expected to be brought back to his family home in Taman Kimsar, here tomorrow.

His uncle, Hock Meng Chin, said the remains of the 29-year-old was expected to arrive at Penang International Airport at 7.30 pm tomorrow and would be taken to his home first for the family to pay their respects before the funeral ceremony.....

Perak first state to have Shariah Supreme Court


IPOH, Dec 5 (Bernama) – Perak will be the first state in the country to have four levels of shariah courts, with the Supreme Court as the apex court, after the State Legislative Assembly today passed the Shariah Court (Perak) Enactment 2018.

 
 

Delivery man charged with impersonating cop, cheating senior citizen


The accused was charged with committing the offence at the CIMB Bank Taiping, at about 7.41pm, Jan 13, 2016 and the case was investigated under Section 419 of the Penal Code which provides maximum jail term of up to seven years or a fine or both, upon conviction.
