MB: Kedah revives tuna landing project

LANGKAWI, Dec 10 (Bernama) -- The Kedah Integrated Fishery Terminal project, which was held up prior to this, will be revived in a move to turn it into one of the major tuna landing centres in the country.

Kedah Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Tun Mahathir today said the project, which would be sited in Kuala Kedah and would also have a dock for large deepsea fishing vessels, would be named the Kedah-LHF Integrated Agro Fisheries Development or KIFD.....

Investigations into former Kedah BN rep case almost completed - MACC


ALOR SETAR, Dec 9 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)’s investigations into the case of a former Kedah Barisan Nasional (BN) state assemblyman for alleged misappropriation of the Menteri Besar’s special fund last year is almost complete, said state MACC director Datuk Mohd Fauzi Mohamad.
