Search on for passenger who fell off ferry

GEORGE TOWN, Feb 15 (Bernama) -- Search-and-rescue personnel are looking for the passenger of a ferry who is believed to have fallen overboard as the vessel headed from here to Butterworth on the mainland today, according to the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).

Four boats, belonging to the MMEA, Marine Police, Fire & Rescue Department and Penang Port, arrived at the location, about 1.5 km northwest of the Butterworth Ferry Terminal, at 9.50 am to conduct the search, according to information obtained from the MMEA.....

Express bus crashes into trailer: Five passengers injured


IPOH, 15 Feb (Bernama) —  An express bus crashed into the rear of a trailer at Kilometre 294 of the  North South Expressway (north bound) in Gopeng early today, causing five of the bus passengers to be injured.

 
 

Perak apologise to MFL for jumping the gun
