Protest in a democratic manner - Mohamad

SUNGAI PETANI, May 23 (Bernama) -- The people, especially youngsters should protest in a democratic manner instead of threaten with weapons if they are not satisfied with anyone, especially the existing government, said Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu.

He said several Muslim countries had been destroyed by civil war as a result of extreme actions which ultimately caused the people to suffer.....

Customs foils attempts to smuggle fireworks, glutinous rice


KUALA PERLIS, May 23 (Bernama) -- The Perlis Royal Customs Department foiled attempts to smuggle contraband in the form of alcoholic beverages, firecrackers and glutinous race worth more than RM300,000 in five separate raids in Langkawi, Kedah and in Permatang Pauh, Penang earlier this month.
