Penang makes history with launch of 'Foldies on Rapid'

GEORGE TOWN, Jan 19 (Bernama) -- The Penang government today launched its ‘Foldies on Rapid’ programme, which allows cyclists to take their foldable bicycles on board Penang Rapid buses.

State Housing, Local Government and Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said the programme, the first ever in Malaysia, among others encouraged the public to use public transport and at the same time adopt a healthy lifestyle.....
