Supply of livestock for sacrifice in Perak more than enough

IPOH, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- Muslims in Perak are advised not to fear for the possibility of insufficient supply of sacrificial animals for the Hari Raya Aidiladha as the supply is adequate, in fact it exceeds the demand for meat.

State Exco for Public Amenities, Infrastructure, Agriculture and Plantations, Abdul Yunus Jamhari said each year an estimated 8,000 to 9,000 heads of cattle, and between 6,000 and 7,000 heads of goats/sheep were used for sacrificial purposes.....
