MAF nab two, seize kratom leaves at border

ALOR SETAR, June 11 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) detained two Thai nationals and seized 120 kg kratom leaves worth RM10,800 which were being smuggled out near the border at Durian Burung, Padang Terap, yesterday.

Sixth Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Mohd Halim Khalid said that a MAF patrol came across the duo, riding separate motorcycles, and a man in a car, under suspicious circumstances in a jungle area.....

Two partners pleaded not guilty for taking deposit without licence 


ALOR SETAR, June 11 (Bernama) -- Two business partners pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court on two charges of taking money deposits from members of the public without a valid licence in 2015 and 2016.
