More flood victims return home in Sungai Siput

IPOH, Oct 17 -- The temporary flood relief centre (PPS) at Dewan Haji Mohamad Padil Kampung Lintang which housed 163 flood victims from 57 families following a flash flood in Sungai Siput was closed at 3.30pm today.

A spokesman for the Sungai Siput district disaster management committee secretariat (JPBD) said only one PPS was still open at the Kampung Tok Sirat community hall, currently sheltering 49 people from 12 families.....

Penang DAP has nothing to do with comic books -- Chow

A total of 6.6 million trees have been planted along the country’s coastal areas covering 2,887.63 hectares until last July through the Mangrove and Suitable Tree Species Planting Programme.
