Four illegals nabbed in Padang Terap, 1.5 kg ketum leaves seized

ALOR SETAR, June 12  (Bernama) --  The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) detained four illegal immigrants and seized 1,579 kilogrammes of ketum leaves estimated  to be worth RM142,110 at  the Malaysia-Thailand border, near Durian Burung in Padang Terap yesterday.

 Sixth Brigade Commander Brigadier General Mohd Halim Khalid said two men, one from Thailand and the other from Myanmar,  suspected  to be smugglers, while another two Myanmar illegal immigrants including a woman were nabbed by 6th Battalion of the Royal Rangers Regiment at about 5 pm.....
