Police nab five, including married couple, seize drugs worth RM355,710

GEORGE TOWN, Dec 9 -- Penang police successfully dismantled a drug processing laboratory, with the arrest of five people, including a married couple and seizing drugs worth RM355,710, in a raid on a house in Kepala Batas on Dec 4.

Penang police chief Datuk T. Narenasagaran said in the 5 pm raid, the police also seized 121 live bullets at the single storey terrace house, rented by the husband wife couple, aged 38 and 40 years, respectively.....

Pangkor Island ready to embrace duty-free status

LUMUT, Dec 9 -- With less than a month to go before the Pangkor Island to be proclaimed a duty-free island on Jan 1, new attractions and improvements are underway on the island so that when the day arrives, all facilities will be ready for the visitors.
