Amanah confident opposition assemblymen support Kedah speaker candidate

ALOR SETAR, June 19 (Bernama) -- Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) is confident that assemblymen from the opposition parties in Kedah will support the choice of the candidates for the post of the State Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker by the Pakatan Harapan (PH)-led state government.

Amanah vice-president Datuk Mahfuz Omar said this was due to the fact that PH was seen to have the strength and advantage to win more seats if a state election was to be held as the people were now wise enough to choose a party that would align with the federal government for the state.....
