Notices issued to 39 women for dressing inappropriately during Ramadan

KOTA BHARU, May 13 (Bernama) -- The Kelantan Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JAHEAIK) has issued notices to 39 women, asking them to attend a counselling session after they were found to have dressed inappropriately during an operation carried out yesterday.

JAHEAIK’s Syariah Law Enforcement Division principal assistant director Mohd Fadzuli Mohd Zain said two men were also served with notices as they were believed not fasting but it would be difficult to prove as there was no clear evidence.....
