Remains of female Singaporean kayaker to be repatriated tomorrow

CHUKAI, Aug 15  (Bernama) -- The remains of Puah Geok Tin, the Singaporean woman who went missing while kayaking in Endau waters here on Aug 8, will be repatriated to Singapore tomorrow morning.

Her youngest son, Louis Pang, 24, said the post mortem on his mother was completed at 3.30 pm by Kemaman Hospital forensic team.....

Besut Police Chief lost right thumb in parang attack


KOTA BHARU,  Aug 15  (Bernama) -- Besut district police chief Supt Mohd Zamri Mohd Rowi lost his right thumb and suffered injuries in the back of his head after he was slashed by a man, believed to be mentally unstable, in front of his house in Kampung Padang Luas, Besut this afternoon.
