'Illegal students' busted in immigration raid

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23  -- Forty-five foreigners were arrested in a raid on a condominium complex at  Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor early this morning.

In the 1 am operation, those arrested were from Nigeria (20), Guinea (10), Somalia (5), Yemen (4), Bangladesh (3) and one each from Libya, Uganda and Maldives.     

Selangor Immigration Department Operation Chief Mohamad Rahmat Abdul Manap said from 181 foreigners checked, 31 men and 14 women were arrested with most of them having entered the country on student visa.....
