Welson still a sure bet at Philippines Sea Games

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12  -- National swimmer Welson Sim is expected to retain three gold medals at the 2019 Philippines SEA Games which will be held from Nov 30 to Dec 11.

National swimming head coach Christ Martin said the 22-year-old athlete who is now undergoing training in Melbourne, Australia, will join the swimming squad in Clark.   

“He is going straight to Philippines to meet us because his coach wants him to stay back all the way so he will meet us over there (Philippines),” he told a 2019 SEA Games Team Malaysia media conference today.....
