Malaysia-Japan workshop to tackle oil spills at sea

PORT KLANG, Jan 22 -- The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) in collaboration with the Japan Coast Guard (JCG) today organised a workshop to tackle oil spill incidents at sea.

Over 100 officers and staff of various ranks from the MMEA, JCG, Royal Malaysia Police, Department of Environment and the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) are participating in the five-day workshop  being held at the National Hydrographic Centre until Saturday.....

Monthly luncheon with foreign envoys is King's initiative to strengthen bilateral ties
