Settlers trust in PM's wisdom to appoint new Felda chairman

TAMPIN, June 25 (Bernama) -- Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) settlers today said they will submit to the wisdom of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in selecting the new chairman for the agency to replace Tan Sri Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor.

National Felda Settlers chief Sulong Jamil Mohamed Shariff said settlers throughout the country accepted Megat Zaharuddin’s resignation and would not put pressure on the prime minister regarding the appointment of the replacement candidate.....
