KPDNKK Selangor seizes toys over non-compliance to safety standards

SHAH ALAM, March 20 (Bernama) -- The Selangor branch of the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry (KPDNKK) seized 4,137 units of various toys worth RM34,555 in a raid on a premises selling toys at Mutiara Damansara near here last Friday.

Its chief enforcement officer, Azman Adam said the 12.30pm raid was carried out following public complaints regarding toys sold at the premises suspected of not complying with the Malaysian Conformity (MC) standard.....
