Sultan Nazrin takes ETS to Taiping

TAIPING, Aug 30 -- The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah and the Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim departed for Taiping on the Electric Train Service (ETS) today.
The couple was accompanied by their children, Raja Kecil Besar Raja Azlan Muzzaffar Shah and Raja Nazira Safya.
The royal family left the Kuala Lumpur Sentral station at about 3.05pm and arrived at Taiping Railway Station at 6.30pm.
Members of the public who were at the Taiping Station took the opportunity to photograph the royal couple as they stepped out from the train.
Tonight, Sultan Nazrin and Tuanku Zara are scheduled to attend the eve of National Day celebrations at the Taiping Lake Gardens here.
On Aug 10, Sultan Nazrin and his family also travelled on the ETS to return to Ipoh, and were seen riding the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) while in the capital.
