SEREMBAN, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- Fifteen sheep were found dead believed to have been attacked by a tiger in Kampung Geylang, Pertang, Jelebu near here this morning.

Pertang state constituency coordinator Azmi Abd Rahman said he received a complaint from a livestock breeder and the incident was believed to have happened last night.

“The man went to the pen to feed the sheep at about 8 am. The sheep were believed to have been killed by a tiger based on the wounds,” he said when contacted here today.

He said it was the second incident since two months ago.

Meanwhile, the Negeri Sembilan Department of Wildlife and National Parks however declined to comment as it had yet to receive a report on the incident.
