Kedah government to help bring home Ridzq Azzadin's remains

ALOR SETAR, Dec 4 (Bernama) – The Kedah state government will assist in bringing home the remains of Ridzq Azzadin Mohd Azhar, 32, who drowned in a river in Burwood Road, Belmore, yesterday morning.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Tun Mahathir said the state government sympathised with the victim’s family who were facing difficulties, especially in bearing the cost of bringing home the body for burial.

“The deceased is to be buried in his village in Parit Panjang, Baling, Kedah or in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

“His family has been informed of the intention of the Kedah Menteri Besar’s Office to assist them,” he said in a statement.

Mukhriz said his office would collaborate with Wisma Putra in handling the process of bringing back Ridzq Azzadin’s remains.
